fruition

so im just about to go hand in my final year projects. 3 years of drawing, printing, stressing, smoking, sleeping in, getting up early, making friends, losing friends, copious amounts of drinking, living in shitty student houses, judging, being judged, losing things, finding things, growing, regressing, comics, books, movies, parties, quiet nights in, painting, writing, spending, saving, going to the beach, coffee, tea, tacos, walking, getting the bus, skating, scarring my chin, winning comps, learning, forgetting, creating, destroying , singing, screaming, being on stage, watching other people on stage, poetry, hip hop, lovers, liers, losers and drum n bass. its been a hell of a ride but as bill hicks said: life's just a ride and iv only done the first loop the loop. so lets go do this shit and get on with the rst of it! thanks to everyone who's commented on my work or even just looked at it. deviantart has helped me loads and so have my friends and family. thanks everyone.

Alright mate, just letting you know I could send you the script for a zero issue tonight if you wanted? But I ain't got Microsoft word on my PC at the moment (It's been wiped clean) so It'd be in a notepad or wordpad document or something?

Hi Alex, I just received your email about a comic book illustrator and I thought it'd probably be easier to add you on this and talk through this etc. I posted that advert on Gumtree quite awhile ago and since then I've been goin' through a fairly hard time money-wise. So I've been contacting a lot of people about partnering up to create this comic book rather than just outright hiring someone, and sharing the profits. Both putting an equal amount of work in script and illustrating wise.

However as you can probably guess a lot of people aren't really interested in doing the art for the sake of being part of a comic and just want to be paid the commission.

So please feel free to name your rates and whatnot and we can talk, but honestly right now I don't think I'd be able to hire someone.

However, if you want to be involved in a comic which I can definitely, at least self-publish, if not publish through a company than please do contact me back.

I've writing scripts at the moment, and I have the time to do lettering aswell in the comic.

I totally understand about the money situation and I'm still interested in a bit of collaboration. If you send me your ideas for story/characters/locations I could bang out some visuals, I'd also love to help with the script and anything else you have in mind. thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

Thanks a lot man, I'll note you with some of the basic concept, my PC's down at the moment, I'm wiping it completely so all my scripts and everything are on an external harddrive, so I can't send you them just yet but I'll send you a bit of concept in a note!

Thanks man, just sent you a note on this. Probably be better if you asked me a few questions after you've read it 'cos it's hard to explain a concept off the top of my head :P
